Dr. Andrew Berardy is a sustainability scientist with a focus on sustainable food systems. He is a postdoctoral scholar with the Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems at Arizona State University. His research examines all stages of the food system to evaluate impacts, identify alternatives and assess improvements to reduce vulnerability, improve performance and enhance sustainability. His current work includes food waste reduction, identifying links between diet, sustainability and happiness, and exploring life cycle assessment for food products.
